Area Served
From our office in Northern Virginia, we can represent you at the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office no matter where you are located. Our attorneys are frequently in New York City, where we represent a major medical center, and Portland, Maine. In addition, we frequently travel to see clients in Boston well as in San Francisco and Los Angeles. We can offer in-person interviews with inventors and portfolio administrators in these cities as if we were a local firm, with no charge for travel.
What Sets Us Apart
Working with Evans & Molinelli PLLC offers several crucial advantages. We bring the technical depth necessary to communicate with inventors and thoroughly understand the invention and its commercial significance. We have the legal acumen to address the requirements of the Patent Office and the writing skills to make the invention understandable to Patent Office examiners, judges, juries, managers, and investors. Our attorneys each have earned a doctorate in a technical field and performed research for several years in addition to earning a Juris Doctor (law degree) and the credentials to practice patent law. We further stand apart from other firms because we do not delegate drafting patent applications to anyone without a technical Ph.D. or law degree. We also offer in-person interviews with inventors, portfolio managers, and patent examiners with no charge for travel time.
Furthermore, Evans & Molinelli PLLC runs a largely paperless office with electronic files that are encrypted and backed up automatically offsite. The advantage to our clients is rapid reporting and easy interface with any client electronic systems. This approach even helps the environment by consuming less paper, reducing both the demand to cut oxygen-producing trees and the load on trash disposal systems.
